Shaykh Zaki Ali

Biography

Shaykh Zaki Ali finished memorizing the Qur'an at the age of 9 and has since been leading Taraweeh prayers across the country for the past thirteen years. He graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor's in Psychology and recently completed a Bachelor's in Shariah from the Islamic University of Madinah. He also holds ijāzāt (certifications) in Qur'an and other Islamic sciences under various scholars and teachers. He is now serving as a resident scholar and youth director at the Islamic Society of Baltimore.
