Qari Muhammad Patel

Biography

Qari Muhammad Patel completed his Hifz of the Qur'an at the age of 11 under the guidance of Mufti Wasiullah, and later continued his studies with esteemed Egyptian scholars. Through these studies, he has been granted Ijāzahs in the Riwayah of Ḥafs, Shuʿbah, and Warsh. He has represented the Qur'an on an international level, participating in competitions across the United States, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Jordan, Morocco, and Libya. Among his recent achievements, he placed 2nd in the Imam al-Shāṭibī International Qur'an Competition in 2024, and 5th in Morocco's Jāʾizat Muḥammad al-Sādis in 2025. Qari Muhammad currently resides in Toronto, and is pursuing his university education, alongside his 'Alimiyyah certification.
